Fleetwood Snacks, Inc.
Fleetwood Snacks, Inc. (‘Fleetwood Snacks’’ or the ‘Company’) is a privately held manufacturer of cookies and crackers distributed nationwide through convenience stores and vending machines.
Fleetwood Snacks’ revenue had grown from $10 million a year in 1995 to over $50 million in 1996 all through internal growth. The company faced a full-scale FDA recall on their breakfast fruit bar due to equipment malfunctions bringing the company to its knees.
SSG was able to maximize value from the sale of the assets, by qualifying two separate buyers for different sets of tangible and intangible assets, while maintaining close to full employment at both facilities.
